Three-Year Double Magnum [3L each] Vertical (2011, 2012, 2013) of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon; The Winery That Won the Red Category in the 1976 Judgement of Paris, Establishing California as a Premier World-Class Wine Region

Few names in Napa Valley carry the historic weight of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. The S.L.V. estate vineyard was the very site that stunned the wine world fifty years ago in Paris and these three 3-liter double magnums capture a remarkable modern-era trilogy from that iconic terroir.

Reflecting a cooler vintage, the 2011 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon shows vibrant aromas of chocolate-covered cherry, roasted chestnut, black tea, and clove spice. A core of red berry fruit is framed by firm, structured tannins and a pleasing cardamom note on the finish. Mineral-driven and classically proportioned, it is built for patience. Jancis Robinson awarded it 17++/20, noting its restrained, savory character and that “lots is tucked in for the future.”

Coming from a warmer, more generous year, the 2012 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon delivers cocoa powder, wild blackberry, and currant aromatics with a plush, dark-fruited palate layered in blueberry and spice. Rich yet refined, it balances round tannins with a long, black-currant-driven finish. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate praised it as “a paragon of elegance and finesse,” awarding 92 points, while Wine Spectator highlighted its savory complexity and layered structure.

The 2013 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon, labeled the estate’s 40th Anniversary Vintage, is widely regarded as one of the finest modern expressions of this vineyard. Vinous awarded it 97 points, describing graphite, lavender, mint, licorice, and plum notes that “literally jump out of the glass.” Robert Parker called it a candidate for one of the greatest S.L.V. bottlings ever, awarding 95 points and praising its opulence, texture, and sensational balance. Powerful yet graceful, it promises decades of evolution.

Presented in imposing 3-liter double magnums, this vertical offers not only three distinct vintage expressions but also extraordinary aging potential and table presence. It is a collector’s format of one of Napa Valley’s most historic vineyard sites, an heirloom trio worthy of cellar pride or a milestone celebration.

This elevated private dinner will be prepared by Executive Chef David Gregory, with By the Tracks Catering, who will craft a custom multi-course menu designed specifically to pair with one of California’s most coveted producers: Aubért Wines. Hosted by Nancy Kendrick in the home or preferred venue of the winning bidder, promises an unforgettable evening of elevated food, exceptional wine, and effortless celebration.

Thirty-six bottles [750mL] of 2023 Aubért Chardonnay and Pinot Noir – six bottles each of Park Avenue Chardonnay, Hudson Vineyard Chardonnay, UV-SL Chardonnay, UV Pinot Noir, CIX Pinot Noir, and UV-SL Pinot Noir. Whether marking a milestone birthday, anniversary, corporate celebration, or simply gathering friends for an over-the-top evening, this is the kind of dinner party people talk about for years.

Founded by acclaimed winemaker Mark Aubért, Aubért Wines has built a cult following for its small-production, vineyard-designated Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast and Carneros. Aubért Chardonnays consistently earn critical acclaim for their richness, precision, and aging potential, with prior vintages of Hudson and UV-SL frequently scoring in the mid-to-high 90s from critics such as Wine Advocate and Jeb Dunnuck. The 2023 Park Avenue Chardonnay showcases layered orchard fruit and citrus framed by vibrant acidity and polished oak. Hudson Vineyard Chardonnay, sourced from the famed Carneros site, brings mineral tension and depth, while UV-SL Chardonnay from the cool Sonoma Coast is known for its structure, saline edge, and citrus-driven intensity.

The 2023 Aubért UV-SL Vineyard Chardonnay is a critically acclaimed and highly collectible wine, earning a perfect 100-point score from The Wine Independent, a 95-97 range from Vinous, and a prestigious placement near the top of Wine Spectator’s 2025 Top 100 list. Known for its vibrant citrus and tropical fruit profile, floral nuance, refined texture, and compelling depth, this wine is as impressive now as it is promising for long-term cellaring.

The Pinot Noirs are equally compelling. Aubért’s vineyard-designated Pinots have earned numerous 94–97 point reviews in past vintages, celebrated for their balance of concentration and elegance. The UV Pinot Noir offers dark cherry, coastal spice, and fine tannins; CIX Pinot Noir layers red fruit with savory undertones and depth; and UV-SL Pinot Noir is prized for its structure and age-worthiness, often described as both powerful and refined.

With six bottles of each selection, guests can experience thoughtful pairings and side-by-side comparisons throughout the evening; transforming dinner into a curated tasting experience, making this not only a spectacular gathering but also a serious wine showcase. For 24 guests, this is more than a meal, it is a full-scale private wine event, seamlessly executed, beautifully paired, and designed to create lasting memories around the table.

L’Amour du Vin 2026 Featured Artwork

Tiffany Calvert

#464

Oil on Inkjet Print on Canvas

60 x 48 inches

2025

Bridging the tactile language of traditional painting with the cutting edge of emerging technology, acclaimed contemporary artist Tiffany Calvert creates visually arresting works that explore the intersection of gesture, data, and perception. This striking large-scale painting exemplifies Calvert’s signature fusion of analog and digital processes, offering collectors a dynamic and thought-provoking centerpiece from one of today’s most innovative voices in contemporary abstraction.

Calvert’s work is celebrated for its layered visual complexity and energetic mark-making. Renowned art critic John Yau, writing for Hyperallergic, has compared the artist’s “improvisational riffs and fractured views” to the expressive dynamism of Willem de Kooning, highlighting Calvert’s ability to merge spontaneity with structure. Their paintings challenge viewers to navigate between physical and virtual realities, where algorithmic imagery and hand-painted gestures coexist in compelling tension.

For this work, Calvert employed a groundbreaking hybrid process. The foundational imagery printed onto the canvas was generated through a custom machine learning diffusion model developed in collaboration with engineers at the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. A precisely cut vinyl stencil was then applied to the surface, creating crisp, deliberate boundaries between reproduced digital imagery and the artist’s expressive painted interventions. The resulting composition pulses with contrast—hard edges meeting fluid gestures, digital precision meeting human improvisation, embodying the evolving dialogue between technology and artistic tradition.

Calvert’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, with notable presentations at the Lawrimore Project in Seattle, E.TAY Gallery in New York, the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, the Susquehanna Art Museum in Pennsylvania, and Cadogan Contemporary in London. Their distinguished residency history includes the prestigious Djerassi Resident Artists Program, I-Park, and ArtOmi International Arts Center, where Calvert was honored with the Geraldine R. Dodge Fellowship. Additional recognition includes grants from the highly respected Great Meadows Foundation and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.

In addition to maintaining an active studio practice, Calvert serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the MFA in Visual Art program at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, shaping the next generation of artists while continuing to expand their own influential practice.

This exceptional large-scale painting offers collectors the rare opportunity to acquire a museum-caliber work that captures a pivotal moment in contemporary art, where artificial intelligence, traditional painting, and human intuition converge to create something wholly new.

Jazz Orchestra Dinner for Twenty-Four Guests from Bistro by the Tracks and Chef John Bryant with Cocktails by Will Oakes Featuring Thirty Bottles [750mL] of Arietta Wine, Six Each; 2021 Merlot Hudson Vineyards, 2021 H Block Hudson Vineyard, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022 Quartet Cabernet Sauvignon and 2023 “On the White Keys” Sauvignon Blanc and Arietta sent a 2018 Engraved Double Magnum of Arietta Red Wine H Block Hudson Vineyards for the Winning Bidder to Take Home

Picture the kind of evening that feels like a scene from a classic film: Twenty-four of your closest friends gathered around a beautifully set table, a live jazz orchestra filling the room with warmth and rhythm, glasses catching candlelight, and course after course arriving from one of Knoxville’s most beloved kitchens. This Jazz Orchestra dinner for twenty-four guests by Bistro by the Tracks, led by Chef John Bryant, with handcrafted cocktails by Will Oakes, is designed to be more than a dinner party; it’s a fully orchestrated celebration.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy thirty bottles of Arietta Wine, six each of five highly regarded bottlings, thoughtfully paired with a custom multi-course menu. The lineup includes the 2023 “On the White Keys” Sauvignon Blanc, a vibrant, aromatic white inspired by co-founder Fritz Hatton’s love of music; the plush and polished 2021 Merlot from Hudson Vineyards; the powerful and structured 2021 H Block Hudson Vineyard; the elegant 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon; and the beautifully balanced 2022 Quartet Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines embody Arietta’s precision winemaking, site-driven character, and a harmonious blend of power and finesse.

Arietta has long been known for crafting Bordeaux-inspired blends with a musical soul. The winery’s name itself is a nod to music; an “arietta” is a short aria, reflecting the belief that great wine, like great music, is about balance, rhythm, and emotion.

And as if the wine and cuisine weren’t enough, Fritz Hatton and/or Caren Frutig Hatton were so excited about this lot from Bistro by the Tracks that they agreed to attend the dinner to rhapsodize about the wines, sharing stories from Napa Valley, insights into the vineyards, and the philosophy behind each bottle. Imagine your guests hearing directly from the winery’s founder as they sip through these exceptional vintages. It adds a level of intimacy and authenticity that money simply cannot buy.

To conclude the experience, the winning bidder will receive a 2018 Engraved Double Magnum [3L] of Arietta Red Wine H Block Hudson Vineyards; a collector-worthy centerpiece to take home, cellar, or open for a future celebration. Large-format bottles age gracefully and command attention, making this an extraordinary keepsake from an already unforgettable night.

This is the kind of evening that marks milestones: anniversaries, birthdays, reunions, client celebrations, or simply a gathering of people you love in a setting filled with music, exceptional wine, and impeccable food. Twenty-four seats. One orchestra. Thirty bottles. A Napa Valley story told in harmony.

Fund-A-Cause: Art Education Fund

For the past 20+ years, Fund-a-Cause has been supporting the onsite and offsite Education Programs at the KMA by funding scholarships for Summer Art Academy, providing bus transportation for field trips to the museum, in school Meet the Masters classes, and more. Last year’s Summer Art Academy scholarship applications increased by 140% from the previous year. In part thanks to the higher involvement in Community Schools outreach programs during the school year. 36% of the scholarship came from the Community School students, mostly title I schools who offer extra support for low-income or high-needs families. Over 150 scholarships were awarded for Summer Art Academy.

KMA’s involvement in Knoxville’s Community Schools program grew this year, with 25 school visits for afterschool art clubs, international nights, and parents/teacher events. The Meet the Master’s program went to 6 schools, plus libraries and the Public Defender’s Office. Together these two programs reached over 700 students in the Knoxville area.

The KMA provided guided tours to roughly 2,000 K-12th grade students last year from 8 East TN counties. 10 schools were granted the Transportation Fund to cover the cost of a bus and driver to and from the museum and that number continues to grow and expand due to your help!

Thanks to the generosity of Fund-A-Cause, we have never had to turn away a child for lack of scholarship for Summer Art Academy, or refuse a bus fund to a school who would not be able to travel without it, or say no to an opportunity to bring a hands-on class about Beauford Delaney, Bessie Harvey, Catherine Wiley, or Richard Jolley to a Community School. A survey of parents done through the Community Schools program last year put “the Arts” as one of the top 3 requests to “see more of” in their schools. As interest and attendance increases so does the need to continue offering museum education free of barriers to our community. So that every child has the opportunity to visit, to learn, and to make art.

A Rare and Exceptional Three-Year Methuselah [6L] Vertical (2021, 2022 & 2023) of David Arthur Vineyards Elevation 1147 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon; The Perfect Showstopper for a Big Celebratory Event!

Rising high above Napa Valley on the volcanic slopes of Pritchard Hill, David Arthur Vineyards has spent decades crafting one of the region’s most powerful and sought-after Cabernet Sauvignons. This extraordinary live lot consists of three consecutive vintages of the estate’s flagship Elevation 1147 Cabernet Sauvignon, each presented in the spectacular Methuselah format; an awe-inspiring six-liter bottle equivalent to eight standard bottles per vintage. The legacy behind these wines is equally compelling. The Long family assembled nearly 1,000 acres atop Pritchard Hill beginning in the 1950s, with David Arthur founding the winery in 1985. Today, the estate remains family-operated, continuing its legacy as one of Napa Valley’s most respected mountain Cabernet producers.

Massive in scale and elite in pedigree, large-format bottles of this caliber are highly coveted by collectors not only for their dramatic visual impact, but also for their remarkable ability to age slowly and gracefully, allowing the wines to evolve with exceptional complexity over time. Together, this vertical represents a rare opportunity to follow the evolution of one of Napa Valley’s most iconic mountain Cabernets across multiple acclaimed vintages.

Elevation 1147 is produced exclusively from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown at elevations exceeding 1,000 feet atop Pritchard Hill’s rugged Eastern Vaca Mountain range. Rooted in ancient volcanic soils, these wines are celebrated for their balance of strength and refinement, delivering complex aromatics of baked cassis, dark cherry compote, sagebrush, cocoa nibs, roasted pecans, black tea, and bergamot. The palate is expansive and commanding, framed by mineral-driven tannins and waves of dark berry fruit, chocolate toffee, and spice that build toward extraordinarily long, cellar-worthy finishes.

The 2021 vintage earned an exceptional 97 points from James Suckling, praised for its striking purity, graphite-laced dark fruit, and beautifully linear structure, with the critic calling it “a beauty” with tremendous aging potential. The 2022 vintage followed with 96 points from James Suckling, celebrated for its intricate layers of spice, toasted oak complexity, and impressive depth supported by firm yet polished tannins designed for long maturation. Wine Spectator has consistently recognized Elevation 1147 at the highest levels, awarding scores up to 96 points while highlighting the wine’s dense concentration, silky tension, and extraordinary longevity extending well into the 2040s. Vinous has likewise praised both the 2022 and 2023 vintages within a 94–96 point range, noting the wine’s hallmark mountain intensity, structural precision, and seamless balance that define this flagship bottling vintage after vintage.

Presented as a three-vintage Methuselah vertical, this offering is ideally suited for elite collectors, legacy cellar programs, milestone celebrations, or those seeking a true centerpiece acquisition. Very few opportunities arise to secure a complete vertical of this flagship wine, let alone in monumental large-format bottles that elevate both rarity and long-term investment potential. For the serious collector, this is not simply a wine purchase, it is a statement piece, a cellar anchor, and a generational showpiece from one of Napa Valley’s most revered mountain estates. When these bottles are finally opened, they will not simply pour wine… they will create unforgettable occasions. For collectors who understand the prestige of Pritchard Hill Cabernet at its peak, this is a moment to bid with confidence.
